Hard Chrome Plating Consultants, Inc. has manufactured hard chrome plating equipment, sold plating supplies, and provided consulting services since 1975. The company is currently run by the founder’s family and we are ready to retire in next few years. Our manufactured products, plating supplies, consulting services, staff transition plans, and facility are described below.
Hard chrome plating reversible racks, Porous Pot Chromic Acid Purifiers, Lead mat anodes, Dot welders, and custom-made plating equipment.
Stop off masking tapes, titanium heaters, tanks lined with lead or replacement PVC, lead bar anodes with hooks, DC rectifiers, copper busing, sheet lead, lead extrusion products, lab equipment, chrome bath additives, and anything else that hard chrome platers need.
The current consultant will be available to assist the new owners.
Current employees will be available to help with the transition to new ownership.
The business is located on the west side Cleveland Ohio close to interstate highways. Since there are many raw material metal vendors in Cleveland and surrounding suburban areas, inbound shipping costs are kept to a minimum and metal prices are kept competitive.

The sale includes a completely air-conditioned brick building that is 40 feet by 70 feet. The building has an attached wood garage that is 20 feet x 45 feet for car parking and storage. The building has a semi-truck dock, natural gas, and 3-phase AC power. The property includes additional land if want to build another building or need to expand.
The business has all legal EPA and Fire department permits including lead kettle, hexavalent chromic acid, and compressed gases.
Equipment included in the sale consists of drill presses, band saws, a lathe, milling machine, slip rolls, metal bending presses, lead kettle, and lead casting exhaust system, oven, stoves, drilling fixtures, and all the tools needed to manufacture our products.
The manufacturing area includes multiple work benches and an electric forklift for material handling. The wood crate fabrication area includes a table saw and a radial arm saw. Shop layout is designed to keep walking distance to minimum.
